On the Water Activities

At the Cockle Pond (opposite Walpole Park) (for those aged 6 – 12)

Andy Biggs watersports, Stokes Bay Sailing Club, St Mary’s Junior Sailing Club,  and the Gosport Model Yacht Club will be in charge of the activities here which will include:-

Gosport Sea Cadets, Lee on the Solent Sailing Club, Discovery Sailing Project, Gwennili Trust (RoRo Sailing Project) Little Brigs, Tall Ships Youth Trust, Wetwheels Solent, OnBoard charters are all providing activities here which will include:-

10:30 am - there will be a “Battle at Sea” performed

by Little Brigs (miniature tall ships) off Haslar Marina

There will be more than 500 opportunities throughout the day to go afloat!

Places for most activities are strictly limited and the most popular go very

quickly, though you could take a chance by turning up at the booking tent

on the day. Please be aware that for young people aged 17 or under permission

to take part in water activities will be needed from a parent or person with

parental responsibility.

Buoyancy aids and lifejackets are provided for all waterborne activities
